Free wildflower seeds from Kew!

Thanks to Lottery funding, the Grow Wild! team are once again offering free native wildflower seeds, along with instructions and handy hints on how to deploy them. One Collyweston resident reports that her last sowing was still flowering in its 3rd year, and she’s collected seeds from them to see what happens next.

You can plant them in the ground, in containers, even in a window box or plant pots. Their lovely bright flowers attract bees and other insect life, and look fantastic. The seed mix produces different flowers each year for up to 3 years, and includes cornflowers, poppies and giant daisies.

All you have to do is apply online – or wait till there are free packets to pick up in the village shop and the village hall, later in the Spring. Go on – Grow Wild!
